Everything around the NFL draft and NFL free agency is clouded in mystery or, as some would say, takes place during lying season. The top of this year’s draft holds far more intrigue than last year even if the best quarterbacks are not assumed to be worth of Top 5 picks.
We’ve debated how the Cleveland Browns should use the second-overall pick including talking about QB Shedeur Sanders. Everyone thinks Deion Sanders could influence where his son goes but, currently, the Browns are not concerned about that.
The Shrine Bowl just kicked off its process with the Senior Bowl shortly behind. Sanders was a big name for the Shrine Bowl but he will not practice or play in the game, only meet with teams this week.
An interesting video popped up that has Cleveland fans analyzing body language which could be influenced by the caption of the social media post:
With every little detail under the microscope and Browns fans the most passionate in the league (and maybe in sports in general), this video will be talked about.
The simplest explanation is that someone asked Sanders, he was caught off guard and just said some simple player-speak stuff.
Besides Eli Manning, very few players at the top of the draft have been able to work the system to get to where they want to go. Whether Cleveland wants to draft Sanders with the second pick or not, it benefits them to act like he is an option to open up trade opportunities.
What do you see watching the video? Do you care if a player would prefer to either play for another team or not play for the Browns? Should it impact the team’s decisions in the NFL draft?
