NFL Divisional playoff schedule: Matchups, dates, TV schedule

The NFL will set the Divisional Playoff schedule for next week’s games on Sunday night.

Next weekend’s schedule is headlined by the Ravens’ trip to the Buffalo Bills in a battle of the expected top two players in the MVP race, Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen.

The other AFC matchup is also set: Houston returns to Kansas City for a rematch of the Dec. 21 win by the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.

Here’s what we know about the NFL Divisional Playoff schedule so far:

All times Central

Divisional round

Games Saturday, January 18 OR Sunday, January 19; FOX, NBC, ABC/ESPN and CBS all will televise one game

AFC Divisional Round matchups

AFC 4-seed Houston Texans at AFC 1-seed Kansas City Chiefs
AFC 3-seed Baltimore Ravens at AFC 2-seed Buffalo Bills

NFC Divisional Round matchups

Los Angeles Rams/Minnesota Vikings/Washington Commanders (Lowest remaining seed) at NFC 1-seed Detroit Lions
Tampa Bay Buccaneers/Los Angeles Rams/Minnesota Vikings at NFC 2-seed Philadelphia Eagles

NOTE: If Washington wins at Tampa Bay, the Commanders will play in Detroit and the Rams/Vikings winner will play in Philadelphia. If Tampa Bay wins, the Rams/Vikings winner will play in Detroit and the Buccaneers will play in Philadelphia.

Championship round

Sunday, January 26

NFC Championship Game: Lower seed at Better seed; 2 p.m. on FOX
AFC Championship Game: Lower seed at Better seed; 5:30 p.m. on CBS

Super Bowl LIX

Sunday, February 9

AFC champion vs. NFC champion at Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans; 5:30 p.m. CT on FOX
