Samsung has announced a partnership with the well-known fitness equipment manufacturer Technogym. As a result of this collaboration, Samsung TVs released in 2024 will feature the Technogym app.
This became possible thanks to the new version of the Tizen operating system and the Samsung Daily+ programme.
Owners of TVs with Daily+ can access personalised workouts and bodyweight programmes. The app offers more than 130 different sessions to help users achieve their fitness goals, including improving endurance, building muscle and improving overall health.
Once the app is installed on the TV, users can sync their workouts with their mobile devices, allowing them to save their workout history across different gadgets. Some programmes are available for free, while premium subscriptions provide access to more advanced content.
The Technogym app includes a variety of workouts: cardio, yoga, Pilates, and meditation.
James Fischler, Senior Vice President of Samsung Electronics America, noted that most Americans prefer to exercise at home and this partnership meets their needs.
