New mini-golf concept debuts in Aggieland
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – A new business offering a new twist on classic family fun is now open.
Popstroke is located in Century Square and features two miniature golf courses, yard games and more.
Attendees can enjoy 18 holes of mini golf on the maroon or white course and also grab a drink and a bite to eat.
Misting fans are located outside to help keep guests cool.
The newest location in College Station is the second one they’ve opened in a city that is home to a large university.
Chief People Officer for Popstroke Tim Glita says they couldn’t think of a better place than Aggieland to bring their business.
“It’s one of the biggest student bodies in the country. The alumni base here is absolutely fantastic. Texas is a great golf community. So it’s just a match.”
Glita also says that they design the courses depending on the property they build on so each Popstroke has a different layout.
Popstroke is located at 255 Ball Street.
