BARNESVILLE, Minn. — There’s a new gym in Barnesville.
Body Under Construction Fitness, or “Buc Fitness,” hosted an open house Thursday, Oct. 10.
People had the chance to sign up for prizes, ask questions and give feedback on what they would like to see done with the space.
This past spring, Anytime Fitness in Barnesville closed its doors. After area gym-goers expressed their sadness on social media, city leadership reached out to the owners of Buc Fitness in Fergus Falls, Minn.
They signed a lease and re-opened the location in july.
“So far, everybody has been very grateful and that makes me feel like I made the right decision to get their gym back for them,” Tiffany McPherson, owner at Buc Fitness, said.
Memberships are $60 a month and the facility has 24-hour access.
