RENO, Nev. (Nevada Athletics) – Nevada women’s basketball hosted Stanislaus State in an exhibition game before the kick-off of the regular season, downing the Warriors with a final score of 73-45.
The Wolf Pack took control from the very beginning with multiple made baskets before the Warriors could even get on the board.
14 Pack players saw court time as Nevada had a commanding lead heading into the break that only extended in the second half.
By the time the fourth quarter rolled around, the Pack was up by 25.
Nevada was getting it done on both ends of the court, as it never gave up the lead and made stops on defense.
Stanislaus State was held to under 20 points for over half of the game.
The Wolf Pack only had eight fouls on defense and kept the Warriors to a 32.7 field goal percentage.
Nevada will open the regular season on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at Oregon, with tip time set for 7 PM.
