Kristen Faulker may have started cycling later in life, but she’s coming home from the Paris Olympics with two gold medals.
Nelly Korda didn’t quite perform at her best in the final round of the women’s golf tournament at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Korda entered the fourth and final round at Le Golf National, shooting 4-under through the first three rounds, five shots off co-leaders Morgane Metraux of Switzerland and Ko Lydia of New Zealand. Korda was unable to make up any ground against Metraux or Lydia, however, shooting 3-over for the day and 1-under through the tournament, falling into a tie for 22nd place at the time she completed her round.

The No. 1 golfer in the world won the gold medal honors at the Tokyo Olympics, but couldn’t find her groove in Paris. She started her day with two birdies on Holes 2 and 3 before bogeying on Holes 5 and 7. She earned another birdie on Hole 9 to head into the final nine holes of the tournament shooting 1-under through the round.
On the back nine, she had bogey on Hole 13, a birdie on Hole 14, a triple-bogey on Hole 15 and one final bogey on Hole 18. That sequence torpedoed any shot she had with the field wide open and only one stroke back of a bronze medal score.

Korda had a tee time of 6:17 a.m. ET for Saturday’s fourth and final round of golf at the 2024 Paris Olympics. She was paired with Lin Xiyu (China) and Celine Boutier (France), who both entered tied with Korda at 4-under.
What did Nelly Korda shoot today at the Olympics?
Korda shot 3-over for the day in the final round, dropping her from a tie for sixth place to a tie for 22nd. She birdied three holes on the front nine but also struggled with a pair of bogeys on Holes 5 and 7. Korda had two more bogeys on the back nine and a triple-bogey with seven shots on Hole 15.
