NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A distribution center in Antioch has filed a notice of permanent closure the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development (TDLWD).
Essex Technology Group, LLC dba Bargain Hunt Stores, at 3815 Logistics Way in Antioch will be closing, taking nearly 300 jobs away. The company filed a WARN Notice with TDLWD on Thursday about the closure.
A memorandum from the TDLWD said employment terminations from the company were said to have started on Jan. 22, 2025 or within a 14-day period from this date. From there, additional terminations are expected on Feb. 28 through March 14.
294 total employees will be affected by this closure, the TDLWD said.
TDLWD said the Northern Middle Local Workforce Development Area rapid response team has been made aware of the impending closure, so they can coordinate with the employer and the affected employees.
