PALM DESERT, Calif. – The North Dakota State women’s golf team closed out the final round with a 4-0-1 win over Portland State at the Mountain Classic Match Play on Wednesday afternoon.
Avery Bartels got the Bison off to a fast start using three pars and two birdies over the final five holes to help secure a 6&4 win. Norah Roberts used two pars to hold off Cynthia Ong for a 1&0 win in her match. Madi Hicks registered two birdies in the final three holes to grab the 4&3 victory, while Elise Hoven closed out her round with seven straight pars to pick up the 7&5 win.
On the individual side, Cora Larson grabbed a 2&0 win and Jo Baranczyk also earned a 1&0 win.
