KAPOLEI, Hawaii – Five Bison are tied for 29th place after the first round of play at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational on Monday afternoon at Kapolei Golf Club.
Norah Roberts posted three birdies to finish with a 73 (+1) in the opening round, while Elise Hoven was even on 15 holes with one birdie and also carded a 73 (+1). Avery Bartels posted four birdies to finish with a 73 (+1).
Cora Larson and Anna Huettl both competed as individuals and are also tied for 29th place. Larson notched four birdies to finish with a 73 (+1) and Huettl was even on 12 holes with three birdies and carded a 73 (+1).
Hannah Dunk posted a 76 (+4) and is in 60th place, while Madi Hicks registered a 78 (+6) with four birdies and sits in 73rd place.
Lily Vincelli (77) is tied for 67th place and Jo Baranczyk (79) is tied for 79th place. Both competed as individuals.
As a team, the Bison posted a 295 and are positioned tied for 11th place in the 15-team tournament. Colorado State is on top of the leaderboard with a first round score of 276.
