With the NBA trade deadline looming at 12pm Pacific this Thu. Feb. 6, we are deep into “feed me your finest slop” NBA trade rumor territory. Given that, it’s time to grab a fork and start eating as we make our way around the NBA trade rumor dinner table.

Nurkic and Middleton to the Wizards, Kuzma to Bucks, Valanciunas to Suns?

After complaining that he and Suns coach Mike Budenholzer haven’t spoken for months, former Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic may have just talked himself into a one-way ticket from a would-be contender to NBA purgatory. This trade rumor would have Jonas Valanciunas heading to Phoenix, and (separately) having Washington’s Kyle Kuzma and Milwaukee’s Khris Middleton swap teams. This from longtime NBA reporter Steve Bulpett:

Hearing from sources that Middleton from Bucks to Washington for Kuzma is getting close, as is a Wizards-Suns Valanciunas-Nurkic move.

The Nurkic part was corroborated by retired Arizona talk radio host John Gambadoro:

Not done but possible but would only be tied to a bigger trade. Suns would have to give up a pick on this so it would be part of a bigger deal. Suns not really interested in Jonas.

Durant to Golden State… again?

Speaking of “part of a bigger deal,” Jake Fischer of The Stein Line claims that Golden State has had enough of KD-less living and wants him back in their collective lives:

The Warriors are still pursuing Jimmy Butler… and Kevin Durant, per sources

This was corroborated by Chris Mannix of SI.com:

The Warriors are indeed serious about reuniting with Kevin Durant, sources told SI. And with efforts to acquire Jimmy Butler stalled rival execs believe the Suns are strongly considering Durant deals before the deadline.

KJ Martin might be going somewhere, at some point

Kyle Neubeck of PHLY claims that Philadelphia 76ers forward KJ Martin is on his way out, and was scratched from tonight’s game due to a pending trade:

Where he’s headed is still fluid, but expect financial flexibility to be the headline of whatever return the Sixers get

This has been corroborated by multiple people, including Noah Levick of NBA Sports Philidelphia:
