ESPN television host Malika Andrews tied the knot in the Bay Area over the weekend with colleague and NBA reporter Dave McMenamin in a wedding that had plenty of basketball references.
Andrews, who hosts ‘NBA Today’, and McMenamin, a longtime reporter who frequently appears on the show, tied the knot at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.
The wedding took place at the Cavallo Point Lodge – a luxury national park resort which boasts prime views of the iconic bridge.
Greeting guests at the reception was a flower-covered basketball hoop – a nod to not only their jobs, but how they met.
Andrews and McMenamin first met each other in 2017, when they were both assigned to cover a Knicks vs. Cavaliers game at Madison Square Garden.

‘We were engaged for 21 months, so we had plenty of time to plan!’ McMenamin told Vogue.
The couple, who have kept their relationship out of the public eye, said they wanted to have two NBA offseasons worth of time in order to plan for their wedding.
‘Leading up to the wedding, both Dave and I were asked all the time if we were stressed out with the big day rapidly approaching. And honestly, we never were,’ Andrews, who is from Cavallo Point, said.
Plenty of their colleagues at ESPN joined the happy couple in their celebrations.
Richard Jefferson, a former NBA champion and current analyst for ESPN, was seen dancing to ‘Sweet Caroline’ during the reception in a video posted to social media.Â
Other basketball references included McMenamin wearing Nike Kobe 6 Proto Mambacita Sweet 16 sneakers to the reception and the music being provided by D Sharp – the DJ for the Golden State Warriors.
‘When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it,’ Andrews wrote on Instagram, including photos from the couple’s wedding day.
