The season opens on Tuesday, Oct. 22, with the Knicks facing the Celtics in Boston and the Lakers hosting the Timberwolves.
Boston will be led by five-time All-Star Jayson Tatum, who averaged 26 points and eight rebounds last season. The Knicks, coming off a 50-32 season, are looking to bounce back after falling in the Conference Semifinals to the Indiana Pacers.
In Los Angeles, LeBron James and Anthony Davis continue to lead the Lakers. James, a four-time NBA MVP, will make history this season by playing alongside his son, Bronny, who the Lakers selected with the 55th pick in the draft.
