In the Eastern Conference, Charlotte Hornets point guard LaMelo Ball wasn’t included among the reserves. Ball has averaged a career-high 28.2 points per game this season and received the most fan votes among all East guards.
Fans were surprised that he wasn’t included.

For the Western Conference, Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker failed to make an All-Star appearance for just the second time since the start of the 2019-20 season. Booker averaged 25.5 points per game on 44.4/34.1/89.3 shooting splits.
