NBA analyst Michelle Beadle has fans in an uproar after she accidentally used a racial slur live on air.
The popular sports broadcaster accidentally let it slip while talking about Nuggets player Michael Porter Jr.’s comments about the team in reference to a recent game the team played against the Miami Heat.
‘Michael Porter Jr. recently said, “Aww, I don’t like this, that if the ni***as…” she said, accidentally mispronouncing the Nuggets’ team name. Beadle caught herself immediately afterwards stopping in shock while her co-hosts looked on equally as surprised.
“Don’t try to get me on that,” said Beadle while her co-hosts laughed and joked that she’d be in trouble.
It turns out, people are getting her on it. It seems online that there’s an equal number of people who believe she should face backlash for the comment and others who realize that how she said it wasn’t on purpose.
