The NBA All-Star Celebrity Game starts the All-Star Weekend festivities on Friday in the Bay Area, with some big names from music, streaming and sports taking the floor.
After Stephen A. Smith and Shannon Sharpe took a break from TV to coach the game last year, two all-time great San Francisco athletes from different sports will be patrolling the sidelines this time around.
MLB home run record-holder Barry Bonds and Hall of Fame wide receiver Jerry Rice will serve as this year’s Celebrity Game coaches. It’s not the first time Rice has been at the helm of an All-Star team, as Team Rice lost the Pro Bowl to Team Irvin in the NFL’s Pro Bowl nine years ago.

Popular comedian and streamer Druski is one of the headliners of Team Rice, along with breakout singer Shaboozey. Former NBA forward Matt Barnes returns to the Bay Area to give Team Rice a player with professional experience on the court, while Terrell Owens brings an NFL flair to the roster.

When is the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game?

The NBA All-Star Celebrity Game will tip off at 7 p.m. ET on Friday at Oakland Arena in Oakland. The game is set to be played at the former home of the Warriors, which was once known as Oracle Arena.
