NBA 2K fans can start preparing to make some magic from beyond the arc.
The NBA 2K X account revealed the top five rated three-point shooters in the upcoming 2K25 game on Monday. Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry leads the pack with a 99 rating while the Phoenix Suns’ Grayson Allen and Kevin Durant rank second and third respectively.
Allen has a 93 rating and Durant has a 92 rating. Dallas Mavericks forward Klay Thompson ranks fourth with an 89 rating and Minnesota Timberwolves guard Mike Conley rounds out the top five with the same rating.
Curry shot 40.8 percent from behind the arc in 2023, Allen shot 46.1 percent, Durant shot 41.3 percent, Thompson shot 38.7 percent and Conley shot 44.2 percent.
This will be the first time Curry and Thompson will not be teammates in the NBA, as the latter departed for Dallas in free agency. All five players revealed reside in the Western Conference, which could be a precursor for lots of three-pointers from that conference in 2024-25.
NBA 2K25 is scheduled to release Sept. 6, with early access beginning Sept. 4.
