COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – UNLV’s Aaliyah Alexander was named the Mountain West Women’s Basketball Player of the Week, while San Diego State’s Naomi Panganiban collected the MW Women’s Basketball Freshman of the Week nod.

Graduate, Guard, Federal Way, Washington/Eastern Washington

• Led the Lady Rebels to a road victory over DePaul, 80-61.
• Against the Blue Demons, collected 25 points, four rebounds and two assists.
• Shot 80 percent from the floor, 8-for-10, perfect from beyond the arc, 3-for-3, and 60 percent from the charity stripe, 6-for-10.

NAOMI PANGANIBAN, SAN DIEGO STATE

Guard, San Diego, California/La Jolla Country Day

• Guided the Aztecs to a win over Cal State Fullerton, 61-58.
• Against the Titans, logged 17 points, a team-high five assists, tying a career-high mark, and four rebounds in just under 30-minutes of play.
• In the victory, shot 60 percent from the field and free-throw line and was 66.7 percent from three-point range.
