SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – National beverage manufacturer, Multipack, is hosting a job fair on Tuesday, Oct. 8 for several positions.
The company says they expect to create 141 direct new jobs with an average annual salary of over $51,000. Louisiana Economic Development estimates the project will result in an additional 228 indirect jobs, for a total of 369 new jobs in the northwest region.
“Multipack is a beverage copacker. We manufacture beverages, sodas, coffees, teas, flavored water, just about anything you can find at your local grocery store that comes in a can or a bottle, we produce,” said Sam Alexander, Multipack president.
Some of the open positions include machine operators, warehouse workers, forklift operators, quality technicians, packaging technicians and many others. Candidates should be prepared for on-site interviews.
“We are looking for office managers, engineering managers, warehousing, operation staff, we need to fill out about 20 positions so there is a wide job available right now,” said Alexander.
The job fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 2791 Valley View Drive in Shreveport
