Michigan State basketball suffered a disappointing loss to USC this past weekend, but they weren’t the only highly rated team to lose, which has kept them squarely in the Top-10 in the latest AP Poll. MSU came in at No. 9 the latest poll, the same as they were rated in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll.
Also similar to the Coaches Poll, Purdue leapfrogged MSU in the Coaches Poll despite having two more losses on the season.
Six Big Ten teams are in the top-25 at this time, with Oregon and UCLA also getting votes. MSU will fight to keep UCLA out of the top-25 when they face them in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
