Maryland men’s football will be represented by four players at Thursday’s East-West Shrine Bowl at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Defensive linemen Tommy Akingbesote and Jordan Phillips, defensive back Glendon Miller and wide receiver Kaden Prather are set to compete in the nation’s oldest college football all-star game.
Akingbesote led all Terps defensive linemen with 32 tackles this season, while Phillips tallied a career-high eight against Iowa. Meanwhile, Miller boasted four-straight games with an interception and Prather ranked 11th in the conference with 56 receptions.
This is the second year that Maryland will send four players to the game.
