No. 21 Missouri football (6-1, 2-1) will head to Tuscaloosa, Alabama to face the 15th-ranked Crimson Tide (5-2, 2-2) for what is Mizzou’s third time on the road in four games. 

Missouri is coming off a 21-17 win over Auburn while Alabama is coming off a 24-17 loss to then-No. 11 Tennessee. 

The Southeastern Conference released the initial availability report on Wednesday for the Week 9 matchup. So, here’s how Mizzou looks based on the league’s report.

Running back Nate Noel

NOTES: Noel suffered a foot injury in the first quarter of the 21-17 win over Auburn last week. He’d return to start the third quarter before shutting it down for the rest of the contest. On Wednesday morning, ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported that the team’s starting running back would miss this week’s game, but a Mizzou source told PowerMizzou.com that he hasn’t been ruled out just yet. 

Quarterback Brady Cook

NOTES: Cook also was injured during the first quarter of the Auburn game when he went down with a high right ankle sprain. He’d play four more plays after suffering the injury and would even have a brief hospital stint where he’d get an MRI. He’d returned at the end of the third quarter and led the team on two touchdown drives, including an 18-play, 95-yard drive to put Mizzou ahead with less than a minute in regulation.

Wide receiver Mookie Cooper

NOTES: Cooper is dealing with an undisclosed injury. He had two receptions for 84 yards in Week 8.
