Missouri State basketball will have its first real home test of the season when it hosts Tulsa on Saturday afternoon.
The Bears (1-1) will host the Golden Hurricane (3-0) at 1 p.m. at Great Southern Bank Arena.
Missouri State is coming off its first win of the season when it beat Division II Missouri Southern 90-61 on Monday. It followed a 72-65 loss at Butler to tip off its first season under head coach Cuonzo Martin since he left the program in 2011.
Tulsa is unbeaten through three games with wins over Northeastern State, Arkansas-Pine Bluff and Oral Roberts, each at home. Saturday will be Tulsa’s first road trip.
The Golden Hurricane has four players averaging double-digits, with Keaston Willis, a 6-foot-3 redshirt senior, leading the way with 18.7 points per game.
