Five new teams moved into the Michigan high school basketball rankings by the Michigan Sports Writers, with two new No. 1 teams across the four divisions. East Lansing also stands alone at the top now in Division 1, but Orchard Lake St. Mary’s made a strong leap after an impressive week.
In Division 2, Onsted made one of the biggest jumped of the week, moving from No. 6 to No. 2.
