Following a blowout loss to Texas in Week 2 of the college football season at home, the Wolverines pulled off a late 27-24 comeback victory over No. 12 USC. Kalel Mullings scored a 1-yard touchdown with 37 seconds remaining to help No. 17 Michigan pick up the win and advance to 3-1.
Michigan defensive back Aamir Hall tackled receiver Ja’Kobi Lane a yard shy of a potential first down to extend the game on a fourth-and-9 to end the final USC possession. Quarterback Alex Orji took a knee to bleed the rest of the clock for the victory.
