The new-look Miami Heat are gearing up for the second half of the season after passing the NBA’s All-Star Break last week.
The Heat traded Jimmy Butler to Golden State just before the trade deadline earlier this month. A five-team trade saw Butler land with the Warriors and Miami picking up Andrew Wiggins, Kyle Anderson and Davion Mitchell.
Now, they’ll have to mesh as they roll through the rest of their season.

The Heat currently occupy the No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference with a 28-30 record overall. There’s ground to cover if they want to not be in the Play-in Tournament that proceeds the playoffs.
Miami is ahead of the No. 8 Orlando Magic at 20 games back of first place. They’ll try to potentially make up ground between them and the No. 6 Detroit Pistons.
If the postseason began today, the Heat would take on the Magic in the Play-In tournament in the No. 7 vs. No. 8 game.
