VERONA, N.Y. – The La Salle men’s golf team will take part in their first competition of the fall season tomorrow when they take part in the Red Bandanna Invitational hosted by Boston College. This marks the beginning of the Avery Papalia era as the newly appointed head coach for the Explorers.

La Salle enters this season under the leadership of Avery Papalia, recently of Wagner College. Papalia in his role has head coach has brought in two new members to the Explorers in Carter Baum and Payton Hawke. The Explorers will return familiar faces from last year’s roster including junior Benjamin Battye, who was a standout on the team last season. Gavin Dosch, Alex Gekas, Matt Lafond, Armand Loscalzo, and Ryan Smiley also return for La Salle.
