ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Macalester College men’s golf team begins its 2024 schedule on August 30 with a dual against Crown College at the Island View Golf Club in Waconia, Minn. The dual is the first of five events leading up to the MIAC Championships on Oct. 5-7.
Macalester will compete in the Augsburg Fall Invitational Aug 31-Sept 1 at Majestic Oaks Golf Course in Ham Lake, Minn. The following weekend, the Scots head to the Pioneer Creek Golf Course in Maple Plain, Minn. for the Minnesota Golf Classic, hosted by Bethel on Sept 7-8. On Sept 21-22, the Scots play in the Saint John’s Fall Invite, at the St. Cloud Country Club in St. Cloud, Minn. The final event before the conference championships will be the Twin Cities Class, hosted by Gustavus Sept 28-30, in Elk River, Minn.
The 2024 MIAC Championships will be held at the Braemar Golf Course in Edina, Minn. on Oct 5-7. The Scots tied for sixth at the conference championships last season, setting a new 54-hole tournament score of 915.
