GAINESVILLE, Fla. – North Florida men’s golf put up good scores through a pair of rounds at the Gator Invitational hosted by Florida on Saturday afternoon.

Redshirt freshman Danny Erickson posted back-to-back rounds in the 60s to go 4-under 136 going into the final round with a top-five standing. Jason Duff also performed well with a 1-over 141 score that puts him just outside top-25 status.

• Danny Erickson ended his first round with three straight birdies, followed with four birdies in the second round to help reach his fifth-place ranking.
• The freshman shares the top standing in par-five average score (6-under) and is second in birdies (10 total).
• Jason Duff led the team in pars on Saturday with 25 total, along with five combined birdies, to be just behind Erickson in 28th overall.
• Brett Schell had four birdies in the first found and three in the second, plus an eagle on the 12th hole, to turn in 5-over 145 on the day.
• Filippo Serra and Chase Carroll capped off a 36-hole day for the Ospreys in Gainesville.
• The Ospreys finished the extended tournament day with 100 total pars, 31 total birdies and an eagle.
