NORMAN, Okla.—The Golf Coaches Association of America announced their 2023-24 Outstanding Team Academic Awards on Tuesday afternoon with the William & Mary men’s team receiving honors.
The Tribe men were one of just 59 Division I men’s programs in the nation to record a team GPA of 3.5 or higher during the previous academic year. Harvard was crowned as the DI Academic National Champions, while 240 programs across six divisions were honored.
W&M and Delaware were the only two CAA schools presented with the honor. The Tribe posted a GPA of 3.56 in the fall and an impressive 3.73 in the spring.
The team begins their 2024-25 season on Sept. 8 at the Bryan National Collegiate.
