PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – Two rounds in the books at the FAU Invitational, and the Central Arkansas men’s golf team has a pair of top-20 golfers after 36 holes.
Vukasin Suturovic and Kalle Svederman are tied at 17th place, both at a 3-over 145. Suturovic tallied five birdies in round two, playing his way to an even 71 to move up into the top-20. Svederman, on the other hand, had a great first round, shooting a 2-under 69 to start the tournament. He had seven birdies in the first round, with four in the front nine. Sam Norman played his way to a 7-over 149 on Monday, after starting the FAU Invitational with a 1-under 70 in the first round.
Maksymilian Bialy has four birdies on the day, two in each round, and he finished Monday’s play with a 7-over 149. Bogdan Sandrini tallied four birdies of his own, sinking three in the second round. He heads into Tuesday’s final round with a score of 158. Abderrahmane Fakori checks in with a 159, claiming two birdies on Monday.
USF is currently in first place through two rounds, followed by UNA in second. Toledo and UAB are tied for third place. Individually, FGCU’s Christian Figueredo leads the pack, six strokes under par. USF’s Jake Peacock is one stroke behind him in second, and UAB’s Jonathan Ericcson is in third, one stroke under par.
