NEWTOWN SQUARE, Pa. – The Saint Joseph’s men’s golf team capped the fall portion of its 2024-25 schedule on Thursday as the Hawks shot 325 (+45) and placed sixth at the Big 5 Invitational.
How It Happened
• Individually, Christian Matt led the Hawks as he tied for eighth place with a score of 78 (+8).
• Thomas Larkin shot 81 (+11) and tied for 20th.
• Noah Moelter tied for 24th with a score of 82 (+12).
• Steve Lorenzo posted a score of 84 (+14) and tied for 29th.
• Tyler Leyden finished in 32nd place with a score of 85 (+15).
• Keller Mulhern rounded out St. Joe’s squad as he shot 87 (+17) and placed 34th.
• Penn won the team title by four strokes with a score of 304 (+24).
• Villanova’s Ryan Pamer earned medalist honors with one-over-par 71.
• The Big 5 Invitational was held at the par-70 Aronimink Golf Club (7,267 yards).
