PHILADELPHIA – New La Salle men’s golf head coach Avery Papalia announced Tuesday the 2024 fall slate for the Explorers. The schedule features five events beginning Sunday, Sep. 1.
The Explorers will begin their season taking part in the Red Bandana Invitational hosted by Boston College. This will be a 54-hole stroke play event spanning over two days with 15 total teams competing in the event. Sunday will feature 36 holes of play with 18 holes played on Monday.
La Salle will then take on familiar faces while competing in the Temple Invitational from Sep. 20-22. The event will be help at the 1912 Club in Plymouth Meeting, Pa.
The Blue & Gold will then compete in their first event in October at the Matthews Auto Collegiate Golf Invitational hosted by Binghamton University. The event will span over two days from Oct. 6-7.
The final event of the fall season will be the Big 5 Championship. Drexel, Penn, Saint Joseph’s, Temple, and Villanova will all travel to Newtown Square, Pa. at the Aronimink Golf Club to compete on Thursday, Oct. 24.
