BROOKINGS, S.D. – The South Dakota State men’s golf team has announced the addition of two players to the roster for the 2025-26 season. Parker Brock and Hayden Scott will join the Jacks as freshmen next fall.
Parker Brock • Walker, Minn. • Walker Hackensack Akeley High School

Brock was the 2024 Class A state champion as a junior and has earned all-conference and all-state accolades every season of his high school career. He led the Wolves to consecutive runner-up team finishes at the state meet in 2023 and 2024. Brock set a new conference record with a 64 (-8) single round and in total was 17-under in all conference competition his junior season.
Brock is also a member of the basketball and football teams at WHA. He earned academic all-state honors in golf last season and is on the honor roll.
Brock is the son of Cory and Courtney Brock. He plans to major in business.

We couldn’t be more excited to add a Minnesota State High School Champion to our roster. Parker brings an athletic and competitive background to our program. We are excited to see what he can accomplish as a Jackrabbit!”
Hayden Scott • Sioux Falls, S.D. • Harrisburg High School
Hayden Scott, a native of Sioux Falls, is senior at Harrisburg High School.
Scott will join the Jackrabbits following his high school career with the Tigers. He helped Harrisburg win a South Dakota state team championship in 2022 and was the ESD individual champ in 2023. For his senior season in 2024, Scott averaged 73.98 shots per round. He earned academic all-state honors as a junior and senior.
Scott is the son of Mike and Nicole Scott. He plans to major in business at SDSU.

Hayden is a fierce competitor and had made some incredible strides in the last couple years. I am excited for the Brookings and Jackrabbit community to get to know him. With the access to our first-class facilities, the sky is the limit for Hayden!”
