After ending a 35-game losing streak last week with a last-second, 34-32, victory over Kearny, Ferris tried to win two games in a row for the first time since 2012 when it defeated Kearny (42-21) and Marist (31-12) in consecutive games, but fell short, falling 34-12 to Memorial in Jersey City.
Memorial (3-3) snapped a 2-game losing streak, and were outscored 72-23 in those games against North Bergen and Fair Lawn.
Memorial has now won eight straight games against Ferris — five straight between 2020 and 2024 and three in a row between 2013-2015.
The last time Ferries defeated Memorial was in 2012 by a score of 62-27, and Memorial’s streak continues with a big road victory.
