As a FIBA Global Ambassador, Carmelo Anthony helped kick off the Road to Qatar and the 2027 FIBA World Cup.
The three-time Olympic gold medalist and FIBA World Cup bronze winner with Team USA shared his expectations for the tournament in an interview with Eurohoops.
“I don’t know what [USA] team is going to be represented in Doha, but I will say that I’m actually looking forward to being a part of it—just being there, working, and doing my job to continue growing the game. I’m really looking forward to spending a lot of time in Doha over the next couple of months and the next couple of years,” Anthony said.
