All-Metro girls golf first team
Eva Brown, junior, Mehlville
Brown snapped off her third straight top-three state finish in as many tries when she placed third in the Class 3 state tournament. Won the Class 3 District 1 championship for her second district title in three seasons and also won titles at the Summit and Lindbergh invitationals. Named the Suburban Conference Red Pool player of the year.
Annabelle Bush, senior, St. Dominic
Bush capped a run of four consecutive all-state (top 15) finishes with a runner-up showing at the Class 4 state tournament. She also captured her first district championship, a share of the top spot in Class 4 District 2 with a 1-under-par 71 at the Golf Club of Wentzville. Bush has signed to play NCAA Division I golf at Drake.

Sarah Hyten, junior, Father McGivney
Enjoyed her third strong postseason in as many tries. Hyten won her third successive regional title by topping the field at the Class 1A Gibault Regional and then captured her first sectional championship at the Rochester Sectional. Hyten capped it off with a tie for fourth at the Class 1A state tournament, her third straight all-state effort.
Rachel Johnson, junior, Edwardsville
Johnson had a breakout season for the Tigers that included a trio of memorable victories. She won the Southwestern Conference Tournament championship and followed that up with a tie for the top spot at the Class 2A Centralia Regional and a title at the Normal University Sectional. Johnson then earned the highest large-school finish of any Metro East golfer with a tie for 13th place at the Class 2A state tourney.
KC Lenox, senior, St. Joseph’s
Lenox wrapped up a strong four-year run with the powerhouse Angels. She finished second at the Class 4 District 1 tournament and 13th at the Class 4 state tourney, while also fashioning a fourth-place effort at the Viz-a-Tational and a tie for fifth at the Angel Classic. Lenox has signed to play NCAA Division I golf at Lindenwood.
Hannah Mottert, senior, Francis Howell
Mottert posted another strong season for the Vikings, who finished third as a team in Class 4. She tied for first at the Lindbergh Invitational and tied for third at the Angel Classic before a fifth-place showing at the Class 4 District 2 tournament and a tie for 10th at the Class 4 state tourney. Mottert has signed with Central Missouri.
All-Metro girls golf second team
Tess Guignon, sophomore, St. Joseph’s
Guignon capped a breakout season by winning the Class 4 state championship, the first Angels golfer to do so since 1996. She also tied for third at the Angle Classic, tied for fourth at the Class 4 District 1 tournament and tied for sixth at the Viz-a-Tational.
Reese Reinhardt, senior, Lindbergh
Reinhardt finished eighth at the Class 4 state tournament, her first top-10 finish and second all-state (top 15) showing. She also tied for fifth at the Summit Invitational and tied for eighth at the Class 4 District 1 tourney.
Annie Rothery, sophomore, Visitation
Rothery posted the highest individual finish for the Class 4 team champion Vivettes with a ninth-place showing. She also finished third at the Class 4 District 1 tournament and had top-16 showings at the Angel Classic and the Viz-a-Tational.
Ally Suhre, sophomore, Metro-East Lutheran
Suhre captured sixth place at the Class 1A state tournament, her second top-six state finish in as many tries. She also posted her second straight top-10 regional and sectional finishes after a fifth-place showing at the Gibault Regional and a tie for sixth at the Rochester Sectional.
Addy Surber, senior, Lafayette
Surber just missed her fourth straight all-state cut but still enjoyed a strong campaign. She tied for second place at the Viz-a-Tational, tied for third at the Summit Invitational and tied for fourth at the Class 4 District 1 tournament.
Lisa Zhang, sophomore, MICDS
Zhang enjoyed a breakout season for the Class 2 champion Rams. She won the Class 2 District 1 championship, was the runner-up at the Class 2 state tournament and was also second at the Angel Classic.
All-Metro girls golf third team
Sara Kolar, freshman, Maplewood-Richmond Heights
Kolar burst on to the high school golf scene with a memorable rookie campaign that included a strong postseason. She finished second at the Class 2 District 1 tournament before tying for third place at the Class 2 state tourney.
Cate Nakatani, senior, Webster Groves
Nakatani made her third trip to state her best with a tie for eighth place at the Class 3 tournament. She also posted a runner-up showing at the Class 3 District 1 tourney and tied for 13th at the Summit Invitational.
Morgan Nute, sophomore, Wright City
Nute followed up a dazzling freshman season with another strong campaign. She earned her second successive top-four state finish with a tie for third at the Class 2 tournament and she also took fourth at the Class 2 District 1 tourney.
Anais Oge, senior, Clayton
Oge saved her best season for her last with a quartet of top-six finishes. She won the Class 3 District 2 championship, tied for third at the Summit Invitational, tied for fourth at the Lindbergh Invitational and capped it off with a sixth-place effort at the Class 3 state tournament.
Reese Robson, senior, Visitation
Robson had a strong final campaign to help lead the Vivettes to their second straight Class 4 team title. She tied for second at the Viz-a-Tational, tied for eighth at the Class 4 District 1 tournament and capped it off with a tie for 10th at the Class 4 tourney.
Morgan Withington, senior, MICDS
Withington carded a pair of matching top-five finishes to help lead the Rams to the Class 2 team title. She took fifth place at the Class 2 District 1 tournament and tied for fifth at the Class 2 tourney, while also tying for seventh at the Angel Classic.
Visitation senior Avery McLaughlin is the Post-Dispatch All-Metro girls golfer of the year.
