Meagan Good and Jonathan Majors first announced their engagement at the EBONY Power 100 Gala last month. In a new Q&A, the couple awkwardly answer a few questions from a TMZ reporter who caught the pair in workout mode. This, of course, led to questions about their fit physiques before the reporter pivoted to their impending nuptials.
After laughing off a question about getting in shape for the wedding, the Harlem actress points to Majors as the reason she’s in such good shape, with the Creed III actor adding that there is “no secret” to tell in regards to obtaining the same impressive frame. Good is then asked how Majors “popped the question,” and while she refused to go into detail, she did share that the proposal took place in the City of Lights.
“We went to Paris with my dad, and he asked for my hand in marriage there, and it was really sweet and really cute. And he asked my mom for my hand in marriage, as well.”
The reporter then asked about potential wedding dates, which the couple refused to disclose before Majors was questioned about his current status in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Check out the quick Q&A below.
The couple began dating last year following Majors’ legal battle with his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. Majors was accused of domestic assault, leading to a trial that saw him be found guilty of assault and harassment. Most recently, however, Jabbari dropped her federal lawsuit against the actor on accusations of assault, battery, malicious prosecution, defamation, and “intentional infliction of emotional abuse.”
