BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Shannon McCormick was named NSIC Player of the Week for her performance at the Central Region Preview held in Blue Springs, Missouri earlier this week. 

McCormick finished day one of the tournament with a score of 2-under-par and recorded five birdies on the day. She had a stretch of three holes with back-to-back-to-back birdies. On day two, she tallied two birdies for a final stroke count of 146.

– Finished in a tie for fourth at the Central Region Fall Preview played at Adams Pointe in Blue Springs, Missouri

– Had a final stroke total of 146, two-over par 

– Tallied five birdies on day one with a stretch of three straight to finish at 70

– Finished day one in the lead with 2-under-par

– Followed up on day two with two more birdies

– Was one of three Vikings to finish in the top 10

– Augustana won the event by a stroke count of 592 in a field of 17 teams
