About the Course

Oakland University’s Golf and Learning Center located on the beautifully wooded campus of Oakland University is home to two world-class golf courses: The R&S Sharf Golf Course and the Katke-Cousins Golf Course. These championship courses have hosted numerous professional and amateur tournaments. At Oakland University’s Golf & Learning Center, you will find a world-class practice facility with separate areas for full swing, short game and bunker play. It starts with a spacious driving range with over 30,000 square feet of bent grass hitting area and 28 top of the line hitting mats. Separate teaching tees provide a truly private instruction. Well-defined targets and landing areas help simulate course conditions.

Justin Hicks, AJ Agnew, Brock Reschly, Nick Holder and Julian Dugan will compete for the Mastodons’ team score.

Freshman Phenom

In his first collegiate event, Justin Hicks tied the Purdue Fort Wayne men’s golf freshman scoring record. He shot a 211 at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational.

Hometown Heroes

Justin Hicks and Nick Holder are both from Fort Wayne. Hicks played for Leo High School and Holder played for Bishop Dwenger High School.

High Expectations

Purdue Fort Wayne is coming off its best season in program history in terms of scoring average, which saw the Mastodons average a four-player score of 290.1, over three strokes better than the previous record from 2022-23.

Last Time Out

The Mastodons tied for ninth at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational. Justin Hicks led the way with a 211.

Coming Up

Purdue Fort Wayne will head to West Lafayette to play in the Purdue Fall Invitational on September 22-23.
