The Marquette men’s basketball team has its full schedule for the 2024-25 season.
The Big East released the conference’s slate of games on Thursday. MU previously announced its non-conference schedule.
The Golden Eagles begin conference play against Butler on Dec. 18 at Fiserv Forum. Their final game of the regular season is also at home against St. John’s on March 8.
The Big East tournament runs March 12-15 at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Here are some highlights of the Big East slate (start times and television coverage will be announced later):
MU has five weekend matchups at Fiserv Forum. The highlight of those is against two-time reigning national champion Connecticut on Feb. 1.
The teams have played three times in each of the last two seasons with meetings in back-to-back Big East tournament championship games.
MU will play at Connecticut on March 4.
That will likely be facing Connecticut at home on Feb. 1 followed by road games at St. John’s, with a revamped roster under head coach Rick Pitino, on Feb. 4 and at Creighton, with three-time Big East defensive player of the year Ryan Kalkbrenner, on Feb. 8.
The Golden Eagles play three Friday games against Big East foes: vs. Creighton (Jan. 3) and Villanova (Jan. 24) at Fiserv Forum and also at Villanova (Feb. 21).
MU will get 10 days between games over Christmas. The Golden Eagles play at Xavier on Dec. 21 and then at Providence on Dec. 31.
Yes, though the Golden Eagles have already set a program record for season ticket sales. Tickets are available for all 16 home games, including the 10 conference matchups.
