Luka Samanic signs with Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul of Turkey
Luka Samanic is not re-signing with the Utah Jazz but is signing with Turkey’s Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul.
Samanic showed some promise in the 2022-2023 season when he signed with the Jazz late into the season. in those games, he scored 10 points a game on 46% shooting and grabbed 4 rebounds a game in 23 minutes. His 2023-2024 campaign was much worse, he played 43 games but scored 4 points a game on 38% shooting in 9 minutes of play. Samanic’s defense did not improve either, which means he struggled on both ends of the court.
Samanic has the potential to improve as he is only 24 years old and a former first-round pick. There is a real chance Luka at Home will make his way back to the NBA someday. What were your favorite Samanic moments as a Jazzman? Comment below.
