LSU baseball announces updated schedule after postponing Wednesday’s game
After LSU baseball postponed Wednesday’s game vs. Nicholls due to weather, it didn’t take long for LSU to announce an updated schedule.
LSU had two games vs. Nicholls on the schedule. That isn’t changing despite Wednesday’s postponement. LSU will host Nicholls at Alex Box Stadium on Monday, Feb 24. The Tigers will travel to Thibodaux to play Nicholls again on Tuesday, April 8.
Originally, LSU was slated to play at Nicholls on Wednesday and host Nicholls in April. Both meetings will take place, now with locations flipped.
In a press release, LSU athletics said, “fans must present their game 23 ticket in order to be admitted into Alex Box Stadium for Monday’s game.”
Nichols is led by first year head coach Brent Haring, who served as LSU’s director of operations in 2024.
The Tigers are 4-0 to start the year after sweeping Purdue Fort Wayne over the weekend and beating Southern 13-1 on Tuesday. LSU is back in action on Friday as the Tigers begin a three-game home set with Omaha.
According to forecasts from The Weather Channel, temperatures in Thibodaux, LA are expected to drop below freezing on Wednesday night.
