Louisville extended a scholarship to Jamarice Wilder on Wednesday night and it didn’t take long for the three-star prospect to make a commitment. On Thursday morning, the 5-foot-9, 180-pound prospect from Venice, Fla., flipped a prior commitment to James Madison to become a Cardinal.
A three-star prospect, Wilder becomes the 13th member of Louisville’s group of commitments for 2025.
He also had scholarship offers from Appalachian State, Arkansas State, Boston College, Cincinnati, Colorado, East Carolina, Indiana, Iowa State, Liberty, Marshall, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, Tulane, UCF, West Virginia and others. He had previously announced for Colorado but switched to James Madison in June.
This season, Wilder has played in five games and has rushed for 1,029 yards and 14 touchdowns.
As a junior, Wilder rushed for 1,271 yards and 25 touchdowns.
Cardinal Authority will have more on this commitment soon.
