Louisville basketball: Pat Kelsey on J’Vonne Hadley’s big night vs Clemson
Louisville Cardinals basketball coach Pat Kelsey discusses J’Vonne Hadley’s big night and the team’s performance after beating Clemson 74-64.
Life’s good for Pat Kelsey. His Louisville basketball team is rolling, winner of five in a row for the first time since the 2020-21 season; and a post to X, formerly Twitter, asking for snowplow recommendations had four sent to his house.
“That’s the power of Card Nation,” the first-year coach joked after U of L took down Clemson, 74-64, on Tuesday at the KFC Yum! Center. “Jeez-o-Pete.”
Can the Cardinals (11-5, 4-1 ACC) stay red hot through the rest of conference play? We’ll find out when they travel to Pittsburgh this weekend for what the NET says is one of the toughest games remaining on their schedule — at noon on Saturday against the Panthers. But they’ve done quite a bit since the calendar flipped to 2025 to bolster their chances of ending an NCAA Tournament drought dating back to 2019.
Any questions?
