CINCINNATI (WKRC) – Dimension Fitness, a local studio offering classes in aerial arts and pole dancing, is hosting a free open house this Sunday to introduce the community to unique and enjoyable fitness options.
“So, Dimension Fitness is an aerial and pole gym. We specialize in pole dance, aerial silks, and aerial lyra. We also offer hammock and strap and some other specialty apparatuses,” said Lauren Frooman, lead pole instructor at Dimension Fitness.
Frooman emphasized that anyone can learn to use these apparatuses, which is one of the reasons for the open house event.
Brandis Tenbarge, a class participant, shared her experience, saying:
“I started because I needed a way to workout that was actually fun and I’m one I have to trick myself into moving my body and I found something that at the end of the class I am exhausted but in the best way.”
The event, scheduled for Sunday, January 26, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., aims to inspire attendees with demonstrations of strength training routines that focus on lifting one’s own body weight.
“So, we’re not lifting weights here we’re lifting our bodies and it’s everything. It’s legs, core, arms,” said Frooman.
The goal is to gradually build strength in the legs, core, and arms, making everyday activities easier.
“Everyone has a day zero, everyone starts somewhere. Come on in, get your journey started, and we’ll get you where you want to go,” said Tenbarge.
Dimension Fitness is located at 3390 Redbank Road, and everyone is invited to attend the open house.
