EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Sportsman’s Bar & Grill is offering employees of Sauced and Madeleine’s Fusion Restaurant part-time jobs as the restaurants recover from recent fires.
Within two days, both Sauced and Madeleine’s caught fire and destroyed much of the buildings.
The fires are still under investigation, but with the uncertainty of when or if the restaurants will reopen, many employees may be out of a job.
The bar and grill posted on Facebook their offer to employees of the restaurants, saying they would like to “pay it forward.”
They say when their own business caught fire in 2017, several local businesses offered their staff temporary jobs.
According to their post, if anyone from the restaurants needs a job, they can contact Christ Reitz at Sportsmanbilliards@gmail.com or stop by to apply.
