The top two players in the state are signing with Michigan football on Wednesday afternoon, and we’ll be livestreaming the ceremony.
Belleville quarterback Bryce Underwood, No. 1 player in the nation in the class of 2025, per 247 Sports’ composite rankings, and Belleville safety Elijah Dotson, a four-star prospect and the No. 190 recruit in the nation, both are signing their agreements to attend the Wolverines.
The Free Press livestreamed the event from the Belleville High School library, starting just after 5 p.m. which included other Tigers teammates signing as well. Watch the video at the top of the page.
U-M has a top-10 ranked recruiting class, led by Underwood, who flipped his commitment from LSU on Nov. 21, reportedly with the help of Tom Brady and other deep-pocked individuals.
Dotson was originally committed to Pittsburgh, but flipped to U-M a day before Underwood did.
Underwood guided the Tigers to consecutive Division 1 state championships as a freshman and sophomore, which included a 38-game winning streak that was snapped in the title game his junior year.
This season, Belleville went 10-2, losing two of its final four games, including a Division 1 quarterfinal matchup at Novi Detroit Catholic Central.
