The Reds have stumbled lately but are set to face Everton with a slightly fitter squad than they’ve had in recent weeks, with Fuka Nagano returning from injury.
Nagano had an ankle issue that kept her out against Chelsea, but is fit and available for the weekend kick off.
Unfortunately, Lucy Parry, Sofie Lundgaard, and Sophie Roman will not be back in time for the Merseyside Derby. Despite these absences, Matt Beard is optimistic about fitness going forward:
“Fuka is back available. Lucy Parry, Sofie Lundgaard and Sophie Roman are still out [and] we’ve got a couple others we will give as long as we can, so we will probably know tomorrow who is available 100 per cent.
“I think everyone wants to be available. Sofie Lundgaard is long term, Sophie Roman was about 10 to 12 weeks from the injury and Lucy Parry there is no timescale on it with the way her Achilles has flared up.
“Everyone else should be fit. I don’t see there being any issues but, as I say, we have had one or two little niggles this week and we’ll give everyone as long as they can to be available.”
