With the gauntlet ahead, Alabama basketball is about to be thankful for the battle-tests its had along the way.
The No. 3 Crimson Tide embarks on the toughest back nine in the country with Arkansas first up on the road in Bud Walton Arena.
Alabama (19-3, 8-1 SEC) has dominated the series against Arkansas (14-8, 3-6) as of late, but the Razorbacks have a chip on their shoulder after college basketball fans considered them cooked with an 0-5 start to conference play.
Meeting Nate Oats and company this weekend, Arkansas would have four straight wins if not for a three-point loss to Oklahoma, who the Crimson Tide defeated 107-79. Now, the Razorbacks are home for the first time since picking up solid road wins at No. 14 Kentucky and Texas.
